Cool essay on writing essays. I like the irony and aliveness of watching it unfold. It’s great content woven into art in real time.

Love this. Feeling moved myself as a poet — definitely looking to try some essay writing coming up soon — expanding myself. This 750 words makes essay writing less daunting in some ways and more challenging in others haha!

Jeff, this is perfect timing for me, thank you! I've been trying to write a memoir for the past couple of years and I kept stumbling and stepping away from it. Just this week I decided that it's not going to be a memoir after all, but will instead be a series of essays about the same topic the memoir was going to be about. Just less focused on me. That feels a lot more manageable and a less-daunting writing task because I can decide the order of the essays later. (Can you tell this will be my first book?)
