Beautiful words Jeff! I feel the same about my husband. Perhaps because I had been so burned and hurt before, and therefore knew innately what true love was not, that I knew it instantly when I found it. Wishing you and Chantel many more happy years together ❤️
“Knowing (Jesus) is like that. It’s like coming to a door you never expected to find and turning the knob. It’s like crossing the threshold and hearing the handle click behind you. And now, there is no going back. Who you were before is unrecognizable. What you will become is unknowable. People may think you unreasonable, foolish, or even stupid, but none of that matters now. Because all they see is the door. And all you see is what’s on the other side.”
I don’t have a spouse like that, but Jesus has been this for me. He is the only one who has filled my deep desire to be fully known and accepted.
Jeff, I too am working on my second marriage. Frankly, I have determined that what God wants me to do the rest of my life is to focus on loving and taking care of my wife. I surely made a lot of mistakes the first time (an understatement). God gives second chances. You seem to be making the most of yours, my friend.
My darling, my dear, my love, my own one. Thank you. Let’s go deeper.
Aww so inspiring! You know I love a daring “to the depths” kind of love like yours. Happy Birthday to you, Chantel!
Thank you! ☺️
We hunger to be known and to know another. And we hunger for depth. So glad you've found each other.

Geez, yes. So many of us contain vast unknowable deeps. How could a single birthday present sum that up?
Uh, am I looking at my twin?
That's a point. Why not buy her what you yourself would enjoy? Something practical, perhaps, like a Ferrari?
I mean, you look like me.
Ah! I see. Yes, there'a more-than-teensy resemblance, isn't there?

Oh, you the lucky one! Happy birthday to your wife!
Your love for each other is so beautiful and special!
Thank you.

Happy birthday to your wife, Jeff!
Flowers, chocolates always good I say, but some how I doubt it will matter,
Based on your post, if true, you are still "in love", and that not something you can hide, is there any greater gift then that?
Curious, though does she read your post, if you get a Like from her thats probably a good sign
Curious, how is the photo of an Arab man living in a desert and entering a cave illustrating and related to loving and knowing someone... ?
What an absolutely incredible tribute to your soulmate!!! So beautiful!!! Thank you, Jeff for sharing such a heartfelt message!!!
Congratulations. This seems to apply to what you have found.
